Please read the following information!!

NEVER attempt to initiate, make, or effect any type of "private" or "citizens" arrest of anyone on this upcoming Warrants List. Should you recognize a name, and have information as to where that person might be found, notify the:

and they will handle the situation from that point.

The Lewiston Police Department's Warrant List is posted solely for public informational purposes, so that information can be developed to locate and bring these individuals to justice by the Police, who have the means to verify and confirm warrants, and are duly trained in executing such warrants.

The Lewiston Police Department does not advocate that any citizen ever attempt to arrest anyone on this Warrant List. Any citizen attempting to make a "citizens" or "private" arrest of anyone on this Warrants List could jeopardize their personal safety, the safety of others, and could well cause themselves to be subjected to substantial civil liability, and even potential criminal liability as a result of their actions.

Warrants must always be confirmed. The POLICE never make an apprehension of any wanted person, without first confirming the validity and authenticity of any outstanding warrant.

Although we strive to maintain the accuracy of our Warrants List, some persons on this Warrants List may have already been arrested since the list was posted, the warrant may have been recalled or vacated, and the possibility that a persons name appears on the Warrant List by some type of error or mistake is something that always exists.

(Any such errors should be brought to our attention as soon as possible, so that this list can be corrected as promptly as possible.)

We attempt to keep this Warrant List as current as possible. It will be the Lewiston Police Department's intentions to post an updated Warrant List at least every 4 to 6 weeks.
